‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ cast talks blood, bell bottoms, and Season 2

AUSTIN (KXAN/KNVA) – The longstanding horror franchise, ‘The Evil Dead’ returns in TV form for its second season on Sunday (October 2).

The series, “Ash vs, Evil Dead” promises more gore, more guts, and a new cast member.

The Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors, plays Bruce Campbell’s dad.

“There is a lot of horror,” says Majors. “There is a lot of blood and gore but it is so funny. It is so over the top funny that it dismisses what’s happening.”

“It’s not very realistic is what he’s saying,” jumps in Campbell.

The two TV and film veterans are joined by a younger cast: Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago.

“Yeah I’ll get covered in blood any day to be on this show.” says Santiago.
