Golf lessons from Jack Ingram

AUSTIN (KXAN/KNVA) — If you like to give, you are in good company.

Since 2013, former UT coach Mack Brown, musician Jack Ingram, and Matthew McConaughey teamed up to form Mack, Jack & McConaughey.

It’s an annual 2 day event that has given over $5 million to youth organizations.

It features music, a gala, and golf.

“My dad played,” says Ingram. “It was one of those things that like some kids their dad, takes them hunting and or whatever like it’s their lifestyle. My dad when he got of work he came home and he wanted to go get golf balls.  He would have me go out with my baseball glove and I would catch all his shots, like a 100 yards out for the fairway.”

Watch the video above to see Jack Ingram talk more golf and give a lesson to Joe Barlow.
