Jane the Virgin to change name of show

After becoming a mother, getting married, and a number of other major life events, Jane and Michael have finally consummated their marriage!

Showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman commented on Monday’s episode that, “I just felt like now was the time. I didn’t have any drama or comedy left in that device.”

So what will happen now that the title “Virgin” doesn’t apply to Jane anymore?

Well, as to not cause confusion, the title card will still be “Jane the Virgin,” but for each episode the word “Virgin” will be crossed out and replaced with a different attribute of Jane, such as “Guilty Catholic.”

Be sure to catch the new titles for Jane the Virgin at 8 PM on The CW Austin.
