AUSTIN (KXAN/KNVA)- Christopher Locke, a Pflugerville middle school art teacher, has a theory that everyone has the ability to draw.

His theory is backed up by a simple method he goes by when showing others how to draw.

By drawing with the wrong hand an individual will focus more on details which in turn will help an artist focus more in-depth with the drawing he or she is producing.

Christopher Locke’s newly published book: ‘Draw Like This! How Anyone Can see the World Like An Artist–and Capture It On Paper’, is a fully illustrated guide to drawing that will walk readers through simple prompts and challenges that can help anyone bring out their inner artist.

The book includes topics such as grid drawing, 2-point perspective, elements of design, negative space, and so many other topics that will get beginners as well as veteran illustrators ready for drawing.
