Cinderella’s stepmother and godmother give parenting advice

AUSTIN (KXAN/KNVA) — A Tony Award winning musical is in Austin this week.

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA is at the Bass Concert Hall through December 11.

The show is a fresh take on the classic story of Cinderella, a girl with big dreams and an unfortunate situation.

It features two very different types of mothers: a fairy godmother (played by Leslie Jackson) and a not-so-nice stepmother (Sarah Primer).

Watch the video above to see what they have to say about parenting.
