AUSTIN (KXAN/KNVA) — It’s the 54th year of an Austin holiday tradition.
Ballet Austin was the first company in Texas to perform “The Nutcracker” in full.
Over the years a tradition developed where local “celebrities” were given a cameo in the show.
Past participants include Ann Richards, Lance Armstrong, and Robert Rodriguez.
Now we can add Joe Barlow to the list.
Watch the video above for more about this role and to see Joe’s performance.
